Social City, one of the popular games in Facebook, here is some beginners guide that can help you level up fast(or let's say, can help you at first).
- always build Leisures (ex. basketball court, Burger Joint, etc...) 1 for each is enough if you want.
- always choose Contracts(ex. Puffies Treats, Coffee Table Books, etc...) in the factories that are convenient from your playing time, and products/contracts that is appropriate to your level (if you unlocked the next contract and its convenient in your playing time then choose it), just do the math if your in doubt.
- add friends so that you could have special items from gifts(I think they make new gifts/items to buy every 2 weeks) and to unlock City Limits.
- don't worry if you haven't build much Residential buildings (Log hut, Hotel, etc...) cause it will follow up fast.
- if your people/population is not smiling/bored(color yellow), or its sad already(color gray), build a Terrain (ex. Wooded Groove, Flower Patches, etc...) cause its instant build (no more waiting).
- always notice that your space is limited at first so choose what to build first (or just simply Put Away things)
- always have fun, this game is also addictive so try to limit yourself. Hope I did help you a little bit from making your own Social City. Godspeed.
